Royal Art Academy opens in A’Ibom, ‘the homecoming of Emem Isong Misodi’

A Nollywood Amazon and superstar Emem Isong Misodi has unveiled a modern college that will tackle all the stage challenges in theatre performance.
This will enable the upcoming stars to be more professional and properly equipped with the needed requirements, charisma and enthusiasm to confront the enormous challenges confronting them in the nation.
The College known as Royal Arts Academy is established to assist the new rising stars and find solutions to the halting situations against their performances. It’s an avenue for them to be well trained, build up their talents, bring the best out of them and prepare to rule their world.
The opening ceremony which took place on Wednesday 11 February 2020 at the academy campus located at #4 utang lane off Brook street Uyo Akwa Ibom state capital was graced by the state commissioner for Information and strategy Mr Charlse Udoh and his culture and tourism counterparts Mr Orman Esin among others top Government officials and captains of industries.
In her remarked the Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Art Academy lady Emem Isong Misodi expressed delight for the presence of important dignitaries that honoured the invitation to be part of the academy opening ceremony despite their busy schedules.
She made it known that the academy started in Lagos to train new generation Nollywood uprising stars including the actors, producers, directors and scriptwriters.

Lady Isong said that various students in the Lagos campus are already distinguishing themselves in their respective areas of concentration in the industry.
Misodi said it has been a great privilege to be leading the art institution, she commends the efforts of her staff for their various contributions.
She said presently the academy has grown to a unique movie college accredited by the board of Technical education, she added that with the registration, it has now been made possible for the students of the academy to obtain recognition in the country via a recognized qualification they will be awarded after completing a section.
” I value your support and believe strongly that together, we will continue to deliver world-class learning to individuals, companies and Government in Akwa Ibom state and the country at large”
The ace Nollywood superstar and CEO noted that with the academy on board, Akwa Ibom resident indigenes have a better opportunity to move ahead in life.
Others who spoke were the state information commissioner and that of the culture and tourism.
The events feature dance performance, short play by the students, cultural performance by Udo Mariam, spoken word performance and lot more to celebrates the official unveiling of the academy in Akwa Ibom state.
