Trump To Issue Series Of Pardon Including his Ex-Aide, Micheal Flynn – US Media

US news media, New York Times on Tuesday reports that US President, Donald Trump plans to extend a national pardon to his former national security advisor Micheal Flynn whom he fired just 22 days into his administration.

Flynn pleaded guilty in 2017 for lying to the FBI over his Russian contacts.
Flynn’s secret talks with the Russian ambassador to Washington in December 2016, before Trump was inaugurated, were a cornerstone of the sprawling investigation by Special Counsel Robert Mueller into Moscow’s meddling in the US election earlier that year.

It was gathered that Trump has a plan to extend a series of pardon in his final days of Presidency. Although a lot of investigation has been ongoing as the Justice department withdrew Flynn’s case in May this year which looks very usual but a federal judge still insists on reviewing the matter further.

As it stands now, only a pardon from Trump is what will keep the case out of court and that may happen very soon.

Trump in March said he was strongly considering a full pardon for Flynn. He said the FBI and Justice Department had “destroyed” Flynn’s life and that of his family.
