The new leadership of the Nigeria Good Governance Group in Akwa Ibom state lead by Comrade Anietie Ekpenyong and Dr Linus Okon as Secretary-General respectively are not taking it kindly with sensitization activities in their contributions to curb the spread of coronavirus to various towns and communities in the state.
This time, the talk and performing administration of the NGGG in Akwa Ibom took the sensitization campaign to the funeral ceremony of late prophetess Affiong Joshua, mother of one of their members in Obot Akara LGA on Saturday 28th, March 2020.
the most enjoyable and interesting part of this outing is that, of all the groups that participated in the mammoth crowd ceremony, the NGGG dominated the area and took the day with the spreading of facemask and sanitizer and equally showing examples as all members were seen covering their nose with facemask and carrying their personal sanitizers for safety.
When NEWSIE EVENT correspondent confronted the state Chairman Comrade Anietie Ekpenyong he said NGGG in the state are seriously waging war against coronavirus and it is mandatory for all members of the organization to comply with the instructions of the world health Organisation by wearing their facemask and sanitize their hands for protection.

He said, ‘we are not just carrying out this Instructions, NGGG has gone further to distributing free hand sanitizer with facemask to support in fighting and laying surveillance against COVID-19 in Akwa Ibom.”
The state Chairman of NGGG uses the medium to thank all the members of the state Executive council of NGGG, Chapter chairmen and senatorial district Chairmen for their cooperations.
It will be recalled that NGGG in Akwa Ibom was the first Organisation to distributes hand sanitizer with facemasks freely to members of the public before the state government followed suit including Organisations, politicians and like minds.
