He said even when the community has gotten a transformer donated by a son of the community, the Village council has written a letter pleading with the present chairman of Abak LGA to come and installed the transformer but expressed disappointment that till now the transformer has not been installed.
Also speaking the youth president Mr. Nsidibe Peter made it known that since the inception of the village there have not been basic amenities including electricity and because of lack of that the community is not attracted to development.
Mr Peter called on the state government for intervention, adding that a letter has been written to the local government council to assist the area in the installation of the transformer but all efforts prove abortive.
