FG Hint On The Possibility Of Reopening Schools After Lifting Ban On Inter State Movement.

Minister of State for Education Hon Emeka Nwajiuba has said contrary to the report making round social media on when schools will be reopened, he said they are not in a hurry to make that decision and will only do that when medical experts gives a go ahead.
During the daily briefing on Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 (PTF) on Monday, Nwajiuba disclosed that there is no way schools can be reopened when there is still interstate lockdown,
He said the best thing will be for those in charge of the blockade to lift it, so teachers and students can move around freely.
He said; “You had about neighbouring countries that reopened and shut down again. You have heard about numbers spiking as a result of reopening the schools. Of all the things I would like to do, I wouldn’t want to experiment with your children.”
