The federal government has called on telecom companies to reduce the price of data and calls for Nigerians.
The minister of communication and digital economy Isa Ibrahim made this demand for data reduction in a statement issued through his media aide, Uwa Suleiman, the minister urged telecom companies to reduce the price to reciprocate the federal government’s gesture of in ensuring the protection of telecom infrastructures across the country.
The Minister also noted that Nigerians has resorted to digital platforms since the Covid-19 pandemic.
He also emphasised on the need for improved network as users complain that even when data is available, assessing information on the Internet becomes a problem because of poor network.
