Mike Tyson once blasted a reporter who asked him about his rape conviction in a fiery television interview.
Tyson was in Toronto, Canada, for his show Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth and had been hanging out with mayor Rob Ford in 2014.
The former heavyweight world champion went on a Canadian television channel to talk about his visit. During the interview, reporter Nathan Downer questioned his criminal past.
The reporter asked: “There’s a race for mayor, we know you’re a convicted rapist, this could hurt his campaign. Now how do you respond to that?”
To which Tyson replied by saying: “I don’t know who said that. You’re the only one I heard who said that.
“It’s so interesting because you come across as a nice guy but you’re really a piece of shit,” he added, before saying: “F**k you. Because it’s negative, and you’re being negative.”
When Downer mentioned that they were live, Tyson replied: “What you going to do about it?”
Downer continued the interview and asked Tyson about his upcoming show: “Is it nerve racking for you to do something like this, or is it more nervous for you to box?”
However, Tyson was in no mood to talk about his show and hit out at Downer, calling him a “rat piece of sh*t”.
“It’s more nerve racking for me to sit here talking to a rat piece of shit like you. No because you’re a piece a sh*t, you really are. F**k you.”
