The All Progressives Congress (APC) has strongly denied recent reports suggesting it has granted automatic return tickets to all its National Assembly members ahead of the 2027 elections.
In a statement issued on Tuesday in Abuja, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, described the reports as fake news and called on the public to ignore them.
“Our attention has been drawn to a false report titled: ‘APC Grants Automatic Tickets to All National Assembly Members’ currently making the rounds. We categorically state that this report is completely untrue and did not originate from the APC,” Morka said.
He emphasized that the party has not taken any such decision and urged both party members and the general public to treat the news as misleading and mischievous.
“The report is FAKE NEWS and should be disregarded in its entirety,” he added.
