Provost of FSMLT, Jos, Prof. Nkereuwem Etukudoh honoured by Ntaifiok Anaañ foundation.

The Provost of the Federal School of Medical Laboratory Technology (FSMLT), Jos, Obong (Prof.) Nkereuwem S. Etukudoh, has been conferred with the prestigious Fellowship of the Ntaifiok Anaañ Foundation.

The conferment and investiture ceremony took place at the Ati Annang Hall, Ikot Ekpene, and was organised by the Ntaifiok Anaañ Foundation in recognition of Prof. Etukudoh’s outstanding academic achievements, leadership, and contributions to human capacity development within and beyond the Annang nation.

Prof. Etukudoh, a midim-born academic don, was also the keynote speaker at the event. In his address, he passionately advocated for sustained and inclusive peace across Annang land, stressing that unity, harmony, and mutual respect remain critical foundations for meaningful development and progress.

Speaking further, the Provost encouraged Annang sons and daughters to prioritise education, dialogue, and collective responsibility as tools for preserving cultural heritage and advancing the socio-economic wellbeing of the people.

Also honoured at the event was Itai Afe Anaañ V, His Royal Majesty, Akuku Blaise U. Awakama, who was inducted as an Honorary Fellow of the foundation, alongside other distinguished personalities whose contributions to community development, leadership, and cultural preservation were acknowledged.

The ceremony attracted traditional rulers, academics, community leaders, professionals, youth groups, and members of the Annang socio-cultural community, marking it as a significant gathering dedicated to celebrating excellence, service, and peace.

The Ntaifiok Anaañ Foundation reiterated its commitment to recognising individuals whose lives and works promote education, unity, and sustainable development within the Annang nation and beyond.
