There comes a time when compassion must take precedence over criticism, gossip and social media drama. Regina is going through a difficult period, and the least the public can do is give her the peace, love and support she desperately needs.
In a heartfelt appeal to the public, particularly Regina’s fans, friends, bloggers and social media commentators, a plea has been made for people to stop adding to her burdens and allow her the opportunity to recover.
The appeal, which is not just about Regina but also about her children, emphasised that the kids are well cared for and deserve to see their mother surrounded by love, supported and given every opportunity to get better.
According to the appeal, Regina has endured more than many people may understand, and the video she shared on her birthday offered the public a glimpse into some of the health challenges she has been battling.
The message further stressed that this is not the time to judge, condemn or vilify her but rather a moment for empathy and understanding. It also maintained that despite the difficulties in their relationship, her well-being has always remained a major concern, adding that this concern was what brought much of their private situation into the public domain.
Of particular concern is the circulation of false and disturbing reports about Regina, including fabricated death announcements, misleading publications and other hurtful content.
The appeal noted that such publications are not harmless attempts to generate social media engagement, as Regina comes across many of these posts and finds them deeply distressing. Rather than helping her recovery, they only compound the challenges she is already facing.
Regina’s fans and supporters were therefore urged to discourage the spread of such content instead of giving it further publicity.
The message also came with a strong warning to those deliberately spreading false information about her health, alleged death and personal circumstances.
It stated that such publications are being documented and that those responsible would be held accountable through appropriate legal channels.
The central message is simple: Regina deserves peace, compassion and the freedom to concentrate on her recovery without becoming a daily subject of online attacks, speculation and fabricated stories.
Sometimes, the greatest support we can offer someone going through a difficult season is to stop talking, stop judging and simply allow them to heal.
