World-renowned heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Joshua, has reportedly been involved in a road traffic accident in Makun area of Ogun State.
The incident occurred on Monday along the busy Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, according to emerging reports. The vehicle conveying the boxing star was said to have collided with another car under circumstances that are yet to be fully ascertained.
Sources confirmed that Anthony Joshua sustained minor injuries in the crash. However, the accident reportedly claimed the lives of two individuals, who died on the spot.
Following the incident, fans and well-wishers have taken to social media to express concern and relief over Joshua’s condition, while also mourning the reported fatalities.
Meanwhile, security agencies and traffic authorities have commenced investigations to determine the cause of the accident
