A significant fire destroyed the herbal section of Oranyan Market in Ibadan, Oyo State, early Monday morning. The blaze, which began around 2:45 am, affected 20 prefabricated shops.
The Oyo State Fire Services received an emergency call at 11:25 pm the previous day. General Manager Mr. Yemi Akinyinka confirmed that while goods worth millions of naira were lost, no lives were reported to have been affected.
