The Former Chairman of the defunct Pension Task Team Mr Abdulrasheed Maina who the Federal government is prosecuting on a 12 count charge of money laundering and fraud collapsed on Thursday at the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.
This happened when his counsel Mr. Anayo Adibe was praying the court for an adjournment to enable him to get records of the proceedings of the court in order to prepare for the no-case submission he intends to file on behalf of his client.
The former Pension Boss Maina collapsed before he finished making these pleas in front of the Justice in charge of the case, Justice Okon Abang.
This incident brought the court to an abrupt rise as officials of the Correctional Service moved in to attend to him.
