Two operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) were allegedly killed on Friday in Anambra State after gunmen ambushed their convoy .
According to the Vanguard, the officers were attacked when their convoy was ambushed by the gunmen while on election campaign duty in Ekwulobia, a source disclosed.
The Videos showing the aftermath of the attack is currently circulating on social media.
The footages and photos show the extent of firepower against the security agents as bullets riddled windshields of vehicles.
Joint forces comprising the police and the military have taken over the area.
The bodies of the deceased were hurriedly taken away from the scene as several residents converged.
Attacks in Anambra are on the rise ahead of the November 6 governorship election.
