Aisha Yesufu, the human rights activist and co convener of #bigbackourgirls campaign has faulted the insensitivity on the side of President Buhari for failing to address the country after the horrific slaughtering of farmers in the Zabarmari area of Borno State.
Over the weekend, more than 43 farmers were gruesomely killed by Boko Haram terrorists in a farming community in Borno State.
Reacting to the incident via a tweet on Wednesday, Yesufu wondered why a Boko Haram leader, from the Abubakar Shekau faction had addressed the country on Tuesday, while the President hasn’t make any address yet.
Her Tweet reads;
“The leader of the terrorist group has addressed the Nation while the ruler of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria is yet to address the Nation.
The terrorists know their leader has got their back. Nigerians have no leader.”
