The General overseer of Light Impact Church Ibadan, Oyo State, Rev Taiwo Armstrong Bello, has called on parents and single adults to avoid child and children bearing if they are not ready to train and take responsibility of the offspring (s).
Rev Taiwo stated this while ministering during children’s and Thanksgiving service marking the last Sunday in the month of May 2021.
He cautioned single adults and parents to keep away from child birth if they are not willing to raise them with good morals and values that can give hope to the generation.
Rev. Armstrong also warn against child abortion, secretly practiced by some single adults, describing such as a devilish act of murder and child abuse.
Taking his text from Genesis 18:19, the man of God who titled his message ” Duties of parents and children” called on men to take responsibilities of training their children in the benefit of the society.
He said it was not ideal for men to leave responsibilities only to their wives, child raising and training is a collective responsibility of the couples.
” Know the caliber of friends your children keep and refine them to become who God destined them to be, guide them to pray and know their way”
The servant of God also summon children to obey their parents and assist them in homes activities.
He donated Bibles to all the children in the church as part of his encouragement to Bible studying.
