American singer Britney Spears reportedly revealed in her upcoming biography how she got impregnated by her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake, for whom she later had an abortion, in a revelation that has been dubbed a bombshell.
According to sources with knowledge of the book, Britney believed Justin to be the love of her life while they were dating and discovered she was pregnant in late 2000.
She added that she was taught not to get an abortion, in part because of her religious beliefs and what she had heard from her family
In addition, Britney stated that she was “conflicted” about having Justin’s child and that after long, emotional discussions, both of them decided having an abortion was the best course of action. they were both 19 at the time.
The decision to have an abortion haunted Britney for years, something she spoke about in private. Britney ended up having her first child, Sean Preston, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline in 2005 and she had Jayden James in 2006.
