Cardi B cleared in a mic-throwing battery investigation

Cardi B’s criminal violence charge has been withdrawn following the mic-throwing incident she was involved in late last month.

Last Saturday, while performing at Drai’s Beachclub, Cardi B begged the audience to splash water on her to keep her cool in the scorching Vegas heat. When someone tossed a cup with an unknown liquid and ice at her, she flung the microphone at them. It ricocheted and struck another individual, who called the cops.

Cardi was then named as a battery suspect, but the case has since been dropped because the D.A. Cops have determined that Cardi did not conduct a criminal act.

Cardi’s lawyers, Drew Findling, David Chesnoff, and Richard Schonfeld, confirmed the news to TMZ.

“This afternoon we were notified by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept., that as a result of their investigation, there will be NO charges against Cardi. On behalf of Cardi, we appreciate the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept’s diligent and prompt resolution of this matter.”
