Unknown gun men suspected to be bandits attacked three villages under Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State, killing at least 3 persons.
Villages affected are, Magami, Tungar Haya, and Sabon Sara.
Reports have it that that the gunmen stormed the villages on motorcycles and started shooting sporadically, forcing the residents to flee to nearby villages.
The Zamfara State Police Command, Shehu Mohammed, a spokesperson confirmed the incident.
He noted that the bandits killed three persons and carted away food items in the affected communities.
