There is no gainsaying the fact that Pastor Banke Armstrong Bello, wife of the General Overseer Light Impact Church Ibadan has special grace that comes with many endowments. Her presence anywhere invites an “Open Sesame”, the proverbial folklore that highlighted the famed possibilities that sequel the activities of the protagonist of that story. Banke’s godly activities and trajectory follow that same vein, leveraging her to achieve task that previously looked impossible in the society.
The world is no doubt an organised structure. It is the height of absurdity to think that the power which planned this world, planned it ill or haphazardly. God created man and imbued him with different talents. According to a popular internet dictionary, Merriam Webster, talents are the various gifts God has given us for our use. The dictionary extends the definition to include all gifts; natural, spiritual and material. It notes that it embraces natural abilities and resources- health, education as well as possessions- money and opportunities.
From the foregoing, it is apparent that these gifts vary and they come natural to persons without bargain or liberty of choice. It is why the Scripture in Roman 12: 6-8 avers thus: “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to us. If a man’s gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to meet the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully”.
There is an interesting intersection in the concept of talent and its identification. When one identifies his/her talent , the purpose flows naturally and unhindered. The purpose tends to be buoyed by grace as seemingly impossible things become possible.
The forces of providence always appear to coalesce in favour of the man or woman who has identified his/her talent and evolves a compatible purpose for it. It is why two people can do the same thing but achieve different levels of success or put differently, one records success while the other posts failure as result.
Pastor Banke Armstrong Bello is an eloquent example of one who is treading the course of her God given potentials Her life has been that of leadership foretold, that of life touching lives behold and that of generational Impact beyond. From secondary school through higher institution to date, she has always held the passion to touched the society positively and made the best out of people most especially the younger generation. And her times have always been in good seasons, signifying the support of providence to empower the younger people with a godly virtues and values. Her complements that with her passion for service to God and humanity are so desirable that could not contend the waiting and procrastinating vision of ministering to the teenagers, hence she birth an initiative that has a wider capacity to accommodates the society, a similar story of Noah and the boat.
As Ralph Waldo Emerson noted, the world makes way for the man who knows where he is going.
Pastor Banke in her regular way of hearing from God, has been led and directed by the Holy Spirit to extend her God given potentials in the pulpit to affect lives that almost on the Verge of destruction in the society specifically, some teenagers in Secondary Schools, under the platform of Banke Armstrong Bello’s initiative and currently the microphone giant and God’s guru is going from one school to another to speak liberation, redemption making it a dialogue to reversed the mislead ones back to the right track.
Within the short period, many landmark things has happened in the schools she has visited in Ibadan Oyo State capital where the development map begins.
They include over 55% teenagers in different secondary Schools have been touched positively.
In one of her outing, I had the privilege to joined the team to be very diplomatic, Banke Bello’s initiative should be a curriculum in daily activities of every Secondary schools both public and private, this is to build a generation where I’ll-fated and vice versa activities will be mercilessly discourage and vehemently nauseated, judgingly frown against and, unconditionally disowned, beginning from parents and guidance in respective homes, leaders in various societies, counting from the religious sect, academic environment, tribes and ethnicities. By so doing hope to chant a fulfilled restoration of a generation that can enhance a better society where a character reliability, attitude credibility and behavior accessibility are not only guaranteed and compose, but transparently emulated.
Banke Armstrong Bello’s initiative have come with a highly demand and required sacrifices, striving with passion to moulding the younger generation and the generations to come — so of positive characters at respect leadership positions who will introduce new and different approaches to the solution seeking process, if results must yield and in the positive. Truly, this present times demand that we join hands with Banke Bello’s initiative and let the future lead our thoughts and focus to give out the best we can to the younger generation to curb an auspicious future. Seriously we need a leadership constituting humans who will not amas collective fortunes to insure the future of their consanguineous descendants alone, but also the future of the general society where the next generation of you, me, the farmer, the vulnerable, the vulcanizer, the cobbler and the petty trader out there will be covered.
