… Appeals for Govt intervention on Oyeigun Oleyo bad Road.

A community leader, the Baale Ayeigun Oleyo Alhaji Chief Olajide Kabiru has described Governor Seyi Makinde as a listening Governor who pays attention to the Lamentations of his people.
Chief Kabiru stated this while interacting with NEWSIE EVENTS correspondent in Ibadan Oyo State capital,
He noted that the State Governor Engr Makinde is a leader who listens to the yearnings of the people and has always acted accordingly.
Alhaji Olajide, who is the chairman Timber dealers Association in Oyo State while describing His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde as an attention paying administrator also appealed to him to channel his magnanimity to the Oyeigun Oleyo Ona road that is currently not motorable for road users.
The community Philanthropists made it known that on several occasions, the people of the area has collectively laid complaint through a written statement to the state government regarding the snaky and bumpy road however, all their efforts did not yield any positive results as the road continued to deteriorate on a daily basis becoming very unbearable for road users and residents.
He bemoaned the condition of the Oyeigun Oleyo road, saying that it is becoming worrisome if the Government of the day, cannot responding to the cry of the people.
Baale Ayeigun stated that the area has been committed in the activities of the party PDP and has always returned massive votes in every election season in support of the government of the day.
Chief Olajide Kabiru noted that “in the last general election in 2019, the community participated largely and returned with massive votes that won the opposition party in the area.
Again, the local Government election about few months ago, the people of the area came out enmasse to support the party and in the forthcoming general election again in 2023 we are also ready to cooperate with the ruling party PDP to make sure Governor Seyi Makinde second term is accomplish, but we need something that will encourage us to vote.”
He said ” we know the Governor Engr Seyi Makinde is a listening Governor and we hope and believe that he will surely attend to the cry of the people leaving in Oyeigun Oleyo Ona road and will intervene appropriately”
