The Federal High Court Abuja has revoked the bail of Former Chairman, defunct Pension Reformed Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina.
The judge, Okon Abang who gave the order in a ruling also issued a bench warrant for Mr. Maina’s arrest anywhere he is sighted and bring him before the court to face the consequences of his jumping the bail granted him by the court.
Justice Abang revoked the N500m bail he granted Minister Maina on the ground that the bail had been abused following his persistent absence in court.
The request of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission that the trial in the fraud charges be conducted in his absence was also granted by Justice Abang.
