Newsie Events:-

In Abuja, a Kabusa Grade I Area Court ordered the remand of a tenant named Chris Okoye, aged 44, for assaulting his landlord.

The Judge, Malam Abubakar Sadiq, made this decision after hearing the defendant’s plea.

Okoye, residing at 2A Niger Avenue Villa Nova, Apo, faces charges of criminal conspiracy, intimidation, force, assault, and causing hurt.
Despite pleading not guilty, Okoye was accused by the prosecutor, O.S. Osho, following the landlord, Mr. Ochengele Isaac’s report to the Apo Police Station on January 3rd.

According to Osho, the defendant, along with his two children and an individual named Gideon (who is currently at large), assaulted the landlord, causing him injuries.

The court adjourned the case until January 16th for further proceedings.
