The need for Christians to be spiritually alert, stand up and wage war against every stronghold and household enemies has once again been emphasized.
Pastor Mrs. Banke Taiwo Bello wife of the senior pastor of Light Impact Church Ibadan Oyo state capital, gave this charge on Thursday 3rd September 2020.
The spirit-filled woman of God who ministered on Thursday as the church embarked on their ember month prayer and fasting spiritual exercise, which began on the September 1st, 2020, Brainstorm Christians to wake up and wrestle spiritual warfare against household enemies and strongmen who are satanic agent fighting to hinder and victimized the growth and progress of the believers of Christ.
She examined that every battle is fought with intentions to destroy, damaged, and dismantled territories where weapons are encamped, hence one cannot fight a battle that he or she does not have knowledge of the weapons.
Driven her text messages from 2 Corinthians 10:2, Luke 11:20-22, and Matthew 12:22-29, pastor Mrs. Taiwo described stronghold has a place where strongmen protect themselves and get hides and guards against attackers.
She maintains that strongmen use the knowledge already known to them to manipulates some Christians, especially those existing memories that have previously occurred.
She said “Stronghold can come as a result of strong mistakes” hence Christians across the globe she always be at spiritual alerts.
The woman of God sighted instances, using Goliath as a case study, who mocked, intimidates, and put fears on the Israelites that their God cannot save them but David confronted the Philistines captain and put him to shame. She, therefore, challenges Christians to stand up and confront strongmen in their families and in the society at large to enhance their victory over darkness.
