The Federal Polytechnic situated within Oko town in Orumba North Local Government of Anambra State has in its bid to maintain decorum and good morals in the institution have announced new dress codes for students.
In a notice written on a pamphlet, seen by NEWSIE EVENTS, the school management made it clear that the community frowns at such indecent dressings.
It, therefore, warns students to dress decently or face consequences of dressing indecently.
The notice reads in parts, ” The Management of Federal Polytechnic, Oko and the entire community frown at indecent dressing among staff and students on campus, and forbid these forms of dressing on the campuses.”
The new dress code now prohibits female students from putting things like skirt with slit above the knee, off-shoulder dresses and tops, sleeveless dresses and tops, rugged jeans, low waist trousers, lengthy coloured braids, coloured hair, long artificial lashes, bandana hairband, bogus fashion jewellery and more.
For the male students, they banned long and bushy hair/beard, braids, dreadlock and coloured hair, rugged jeans, kaftan without trousers, inscription on hair cut, T-shirts and jeans with immoral messages and more.
