Gov. Makinde swears in 32 elected Local Government Chairmen into office.

Oyo State Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde has sworn in 32 elected Local Government Chairmen.

Engr. Makinde in his address noted that the people of Oyo State have elected their representatives at the grassroots level as demanded in the constitution of the federal Republic of Nigeria.

” You are the lucky ones they have elected and it is expected of you to to drive home with dividends of democracy as what they will stand to gain electing you”

Gov Seyi Makinde made it known to the newly elected executive Chairmen that they now have the opportunity to deliver good Governance to the people and making them feel the impact of his administration through those they have elected to work with them in their various local government.

He noted that his achievements and performance in the state will not be limited to the urban cities alone but in extension to various communities in the state which they now have who stand in on their behalf to attract development to their various localities.

He asked God for wisdom to enable them lead in the fear of God.
