The Member Representing Ukanafun/ Oruk Anam Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Unyime Idem and Chairman, PDP Governors Forum and the Governor of Sokoto State, Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal were top dignitaries that joined the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel to witness the inauguration of some projects in the Akwa Ibom state.
The ceremony was part of activities to mark the sixth Anniversary of Mr Udom Emmanuel as Governor of Akwa Ibom State.
Rep. Idem began the day by gracing the commissioning of a 2.3 kilometer Mechanic Village- Udoeyen Road, Afaha Offot, Uyo .
The Development Driven and innovative Federal Lawmaker also attended the inauguration of Medical Gas and Vacuum Plant at the Infectious Diseases Control Centre, General Hospital, Ituk Mbang in Uruan Local Government Area.
Rep. Idem at the Commissioning performed by the Chairman, PDP Governors Forum and the Governor of Sokoto State, Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal commended Gov. Emmanuel for the Medical Gas and Vacuum Plant which also houses the International Molecular Laboratory Isolation Centre.
Speaking to journalists shortly after the commissioning, Rep. Idem who is also the Deputy Chairman of Communications Committee in the House of Representatives on behalf of the people of Ukanafun/ Oruk Anam Federal Constituency congratulated Governor Emmanuel on his 6 years in office and for the transformational strides in the state.
He pledged the Loyalty and support of his constituents to the success of the Governor’s completion agenda.
