Making Plenty Enemies Will Destroy Wike – Enyinnaya Nwosu

The dangerous thing about fighting on all corners is that you won’t know who can hit you at anything and surely you will lose. Creating and having enemies and destroying old friends especially powerful ones every day will only destroy wike.

A lot of Nigerians who had sympathy and likeness for him are becoming tired of his arrogance and “I am a God” attitude. Tinubu is a seasoned and intelligent politician. He is a master at reading the power game. By now, he knows that wike can not guarantee Rivers vote in 2027. He has been a governor of Lagos, a rich state like Rivers. He knows the power of a rich governor.

Wike has created so many powerful enemies in Rivers and PDP, and these enemies are gathering under the umbrella of Rivers state governor who, fortunately, enough, has the resources to finance them. These powerful men have given the Rivers governor the courage, morale, and support he needs to realize his powers as a governor and face wike face to face. Tinubu will be advised by his political family to be careful with the matter.

In PDP NEC meeting coming up, if they summon courage and remove the PDP chairman (who is in wike’s pocket) and freeze the membership of Wike and other 5G governors and give the river state machinery of PDP to Rivers governor, wike will completely lose control. The governor will go through Congress and elect new loyal PDP leadership in Rivers, use state INEC and elect loyal LGA chairman, and gradually build his own political power structure.

The house assembly at some point will cave in because they are not making money and wike can not use Abuja money to finance the state house. Some of them will move over to the governor to be able to make money. If wike does not arrange himself, he will be lonely and becomes less powerful and a wike that is not powerful and cannot deliver Rivers state is not important to president Tinubu.
