Oluyole agog as Baale Ogunyemi Adeyemi celebrates 5th coronation anniversary.

 

… Conferred chieftaincy titles on popular Nollywood actor, 12 others.

Oluyole a residential estate and entrepreneural environment sandwiched between ring Road and Akala express in ibadan, oyo State capital was in celebration mood on Friday 27th October 2023, as eminence and prosperous captains of industries accompanied by their convoys gathered at the palace of Baale of Oluyole estates & it environs Baale Ogunyemi Bayonle Adeyemi to receive their chieftaincy titles as part of the activities marking the 5th coronation anniversary of the monarch.

 

The estate was filled with merriment just as distinguished guests from different part of the country and other parts of the world joined in the pomp and festivities that lasted all day.

Baale Ogunyemi who earlier spoke to Newsieevents said the event was also to celebrate the achievements the estate has recorded in the last five years under his headship.

He stated that unity and security of lives and properties in the area has been applauded by even neighbouring environment adding that the youth empowerment program under his administration cannot be overemphasised. “The youths  and unemployed adults are already benefiting from my leadership and we will continue to do more to make people happy,” he said.

Baale Bayonle Adeyemi who is perceived to have solely carried on the rehabilitation of security operations in the estate charged politicians to focus more on development of their areas, stressing that “the influx of people from rural to the urban areas as a result of lack of development and insecurities has a multiplier effect on the well being of the urban areas.”

Baale Ogunyemi while speaking to our reporter, extolled the leadership qualities of Governor Seyi Makinde the executive governor of Oyo State for joining hands with the traditional rulers to fight insecurity in area. ” I am extremely excited for my 5th year coronation anniversary, I remember before my coronation there were some insecurity issues perpetuated by some unemployed youths, insecurity was not only the challenges, there were other crimes regularly practiced by some youths that were not engaged but shortly my resumption I had series of security meetings, meeting with other youths body and that resolved to the restoration of peace and zero insecurity we’re enjoying today in Oluyole Estate”

“I equally wan to thank the Olubadan of Ibadanland His imperial majesty OBA Dr. Sen. Mohood Lekan Balogun and His Royal majesty OBA (Sir) Eddy Oyewole for restoring peace in the traditional circle of Ibadanland and always supporting our ideas that will lead to peaceful co-existence in our environment”

My 5th year coronation has decided recognised some personalities who has contributed immensely to the growth and development structure in Oluyole and we will not stopped here, often times we shall continue to confer more honours to the well deserving personalities at least to tell them thank you for your kind contributions and by so doing encourage them to do more.

As part of his addressed the monarch maintained that being a chief in yorubaland is by no means a small achievements and to be honoured in your community one must worked very hard for it. Hence the Royal father Baale Ogunyemi congratulated all the new Chiefs, and described them as worthy Yorubas and patrotic Nigerian citizens.

Baale regretted that in Making of the new chiefs ” I discover painfully some religious leaders discouraging our people from taking chieftaincy titles, but in their own wisdom, it is not wrong to be BABALAJE, ADINNI, IYA, SUNA, BABA IJO, DEACONS & DEACONESS”

According to him, some of the religious leaders who rejected the traditional title in their comfort used the Yoruba military titles, like BASHORUN, Aare, they wear TESIBIU & ROSARY and put on hands bands as symbols like IIEKE OWO and Orun. However, the monarch proclaimed that a redeemed Christian Church of God pastor has been crown with ” SOUN OF OGBOMOSO”

Baale expression to the religious riot stressed that no religion is greater than love, which is the cornerstone of our human activities and therefore ” my love goes to the people Oluyole Estate and environs for your steadfast support, these last 5 years” he said.

Also speaking the youths leader Oluyole Estate & enrons Comrade mosuru Akingbola who was equally bestowed with the chieftaincy title of “olori odo” expressed delight for being honoured with such an excellent title along side some prominent Nigerians by the traditional father.

He said, the honour done on me today by my father Baale Ogunyemi Adeyemi is a wake up call on my position as the youth leader to be more committed and consistent in engaging the youths of Oluyole Estate in meaningful activities.

Amongst other dignitaries honoured with the chieftaincy at the Palace of the traditional ruler was a popular Nollywood actor Otunba Akintola AkinLewis, conferred with the chieftaincy title as “Otunba Atayese” Chief Adenuga Odunuga, as Akogun Koya chief/Mrs. Taiwo Osungbaro as ” Aare Alaasa & Yeye Aare Alaasa respectively among others.
