The Provost/Chief Executive Officer of the Federal College of Medical Laboratory Science and Technology, Jos, Prof. Nkereuwem Etukudoh, has congratulated the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Bassey Eno, on the occasion of his third anniversary in office.
Prof. Etukudoh, in a congratulatory message made available to newsmen, described Governor Umo Eno’s administration as purposeful, people-oriented, and development-driven, noting that the Governor has demonstrated uncommon commitment to peace, unity, and sustainable growth across Akwa Ibom State.
According to the renowned academic and medical laboratory professional, the past three years of the ARISE Agenda have witnessed remarkable progress in critical sectors including road infrastructure, healthcare, education, agriculture, tourism, entrepreneurship development, youth empowerment, and rural development.
He commended the Governor for his deliberate investments in rural connectivity, support for small businesses and traders, agricultural empowerment programmes, and interventions aimed at improving the welfare of citizens, stressing that such initiatives have rekindled hope among the people and strengthened public confidence in governance.
Prof. Etukudoh further praised Governor Eno’s humility, accessibility, compassion, and fatherly disposition toward the people, describing his leadership style as inclusive and impactful.
He stated that the Governor’s approach to governance has continued to endear him to Akwa Ibom people across political, ethnic, and community lines, adding that his administration remains a shining example of leadership driven by empathy and service to humanity.
The Provost assured the Governor of the continued prayers, loyalty, and support of the management, staff, and stakeholders of the institution, while expressing optimism that Akwa Ibom State would attain greater heights under his leadership.
Prof. Etukudoh prayed Almighty God to grant Governor Umo Eno divine wisdom, strength, sound health, and greater grace to effectively pilot the affairs of the state and consolidate on the achievements already recorded.
He concluded by congratulating the Governor once again on the significant milestone, describing the third anniversary celebration as a moment of reflection on impactful governance and progressive leadership in Akwa Ibom State.
