Ex-presidential aide and best selling author, Reno Omokri has asked married men to ensure that they look after their wives and take good care of them.
The human rights activist took to social media to send this important message to married men.
He posted on his official Instagram page and said it’s duty of a married man to provide everything for his wife.
According to him, men are under no obligation to do anything for their girlfriends but they must provide everything for their wives.
He noted that there’s nothing like sharing the burden and a man must provide for his wife because husband means “provider”.
In his words,
“Dear men,
You are under no obligation to do anything for your girlfriend. However, if you marry her, you are under obligation to do everything for her. There is nothing like share the burden. She did not beg you to marry her. So, if you are not ready, don’t carry her! As the name denotes, a boyfriend is just a friend who is male. He may or may not become the girlfriend’s lover. If he fornicates with her (not recommended), he still remains a friend. There are no duties attached. The word husband, however, means provider. Every husband has a DUTY to provide!”
