WAEC Says Examination Timetable Still Remains Valid, Denies Changes In The Timetable

By Chinenye Festus:-
The West African Examinations Council WAEC has maintained that the timetable for the Nigerian candidates sitting for WASSCE examination has not changed as it remains valid.
The exam body while responding to a Twitter user @SamooOfficial had shared a picture of a letter from the WAEC office with changes to a subject timetable date.
The user asked if they made some changes in the examinations dates.
The examination body responded saying the changes do not apply to candidates in Nigeria.
It would be recalled that WAEC had denied leakage of its Mathematics paper as the 2020 SSCE exam commenced under strict coronavirus protocols for candidates across the country.
The head of public affairs of WAEC, Demianus Ojijeogu, said the answers in circulation which were believed to be leaked from the Mathematics subject written Monday, August 13, were fake.
“No, it’s not true. They were fake. Scammers photoshopped past question papers to sway gullible candidates,” he said.
