Osinbajo, Fayemi and El-Rufai Should Forget About 2023- Tinubu. By Divine Sam

2023 political calculations and discussions are becoming rifer among the political actors in the country, despite the fact that a new government was just inaugurated less than a year ago but, the key actors are still mounting pressures.
Serious contenders for the office of the presidency are not sleeping with their two eyes closed as some are beginning to lobby and also having serious consultation within and outside the country to see what becomes of their fates in 2023.
Laymen are also not left out of these discussions and calculations. While these set of people are just discussing the possibility of the regions, and who to best represent them at the presidential level, politicians are strategically placing themselves in the right place to be seen and heard for or against 2023.
There have been different names that cropped up in the past for the position of the presidency, names like Atiku Abubakar, Mallam Nasir ElRufai, Kaduna State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, Ekiti State Governor, Fashola, the Minister for Works and Housing and Bola Ahmed Tinubu, one of the leaders of the APC.
The calculations have not involved who pairs who. Just who becomes the president.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu has with his body language and movements recently been showing some wild cards by showing who he will likely pair with.
His closeness to Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Kano State Governor is becoming a clear indication that he may settle for him. The calculations are:
Kano is a political powerhouse. And he is surely a very big factory determining where the card goes in the state.
Ganduje by way of education has some affiliations with the South West as he attended the Premier University, the University of Ibadan where he obtained his doctorate degree in Public Administration in 1993.
He is believed to be an astute administrator.
How the 2023 intrigues play out will still be watched closely.
