BREAKING: Suspected Bandits Abduct Emir, 12 Other Family Members In Kaduna

According to Daily Trust report, gunmen suspected to be armed Fulani bandits have abducted a second class Emir of Kajuru, Alhaji Alhassan Adamu.

The incident according to the report, happened at the residence of the Emir in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State where the armed bandits invaded.

It was gathered also that the bandits also whisked away 12 other family members of the emir including women and children.

Saidu Musa, who is the grandson of the emir and a traditional title holder of Dan Kajuru, confirmed the abduction to Daily trust.

He said the incident happened around 12:30 am.

Samuel Aruwan, Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, and the Police Public Relations Officer, Jalige Mohamed didn’t answer their calls.

Kaduna is one of the states in Nigeria most affected by rampant kidnappings by bandits.
