BREAKING: Popular Nigerian Singer, Sound Sultan Is Dead

A renowned popular Nigerian singer, songwriter, actor and movie producer, Olanrewaju Fasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan is dead.

The news of his demise was released by the family in a statement signed by his sibling, Kayode Fasasi.

According to the statement, the 44-year-old entertainer, who is survived by a wife and three children, died from “a hard-fought battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma”.

The “Naija Ninja” cronner came into the public eyes in the early 2000’s when he dropped his first single “Jagbajantis”, which became an instant hit in the country.

Sound Sultan was signed by Kennis Music after he independently released other singles and featured in hit songs of other artists like 2face Idibia.
He went ahead to release four of his total seven albums on joining Kennis Music.

He also produced and acted in the successful comedy movie ‘Head Gone’ in 2014 and in 2018, produced the stage musical ‘Jungle Story’.
