The United States President, Donald Trump, has accorded himself the victory, saying he has won the November 3 election, he also added that he would head to the Supreme Court to convince the apex court to halt the collection of ballots after the polls were over.
Trump disclosed this In a press briefing from the White House.
He said, “This is without question the latest conference news I’ve ever heard.
“I want to thank the American people for their tremendous support, millions and millions of people voted for us and a very sad group of people is trying to disenfranchise that group of people and we won’t stand for it.
“We were getting ready for a big celebration, we were winning everything…
“The results of tonight have been phenomenal and we are getting ready to get outside to celebrate something so beautiful, so good.
“The citizens of this country have come out in numbers to support our incredible movement.
“We won Florida, the great state of Ohio, Texas, it is also clear we have won Georgia, we clearly won North Carolina…and all of a sudden, they just stopped, this is a fraud and an embarrassment to our country.
Most importantly we are winning Pennsylvania.
“You know what happened, they knew they couldn’t win…
“We were getting ready to win this election, frankly we did win this election.
“So our goal now is to ensure the integrity of the election for the good of this nation… This is a major fraud on our nation.
“So we will be going to the US Supreme Court, we want all voting to stop, we don’t want them to find any ballot by 4.00 am in the morning.
“We will win this…and as far as I’m concerned we already won,” he said.
Vice President Mike Pence on his part, thanked Americans who cast their votes for Donald Trump’s re-election.
“We are gonna remain Vigilant, we are going to protect the integrity of the votes,” he added.
But former vice president Joe Biden had maintained that it was left for the electoral body to declare the winner.
