A Popular activist who fully participated and was at the forefront of the #EndSARS Campaign, Aisha Yesufu has reacted amusedly to her name appearing on the list that got some influential Nigerians being sued by one self-acclaimed rights activist, Kenechukwu Okeke for their involvement in the #EndSARS protests.

The Bring Back Our Girls co-convener in her reaction via her Twitter page asked other #EndSARSLists teammates to suggest the kind of dressing they will put on to appear at the court.

She Tweeted, “Hello #EndSARSList team mates.
What colour of aso ebi are we sewing for our court appearance?
#BlameGovernment
#EndSARS
#EndPoliceBrutalityInNigeria
#GenocideAtLekkiTollGate
#CrimesAgainstHumanity”
In another tweet, she said, “My joy is that they got my name right and I am number one on the list. Thank you #EndSars protesters. I am honoured to be part of you all.”
On his own part, popular online doctor, Chinonso Egemba, better known as Aproko Doctor wrote;
“Kenechukwu Okeke, you’re a clown. You’re a stooge and a disgrace to “Human Rights” that you so proudly proclaim as your username.
Kenechukwu, I feel nothing short of pity for you, pity because you’re so blind to common sense. Blind to truth.
Once again, you’re a clown.”

In October 2020, Nigerian youths took to the streets to protests and demand an end to police brutality and the dissolution of the notorious unit, SARS.

Nigerian celebrities and personalities lent their voices to the protests which gained national and international attention.

According to Okeke, the mayhem that followed the suspension of protests, led to the destruction of his properties, hence the reason for his suit to make defendants who promoted the #EndSARS protests be brought to justice.

Those listed as defendants include Pastor Sam Adeyemi; activist, Aisha Yesufu; Tubaba, Davido, Falz, Don Jazzy, and Tiwa Savage.

Others joined in the suit included; Pamilerin Adegoke, Japhet Omojuwa, Feyikemi Abudu, Olorunrinu Oduala, Ayo Sogunro, and Deji Adeyanju.
