… Ready to confer honorary chieftaincy titles, Afin Baale, October 27th.
Baale Yemi Ogunyemi the Baale Oluyole Estate & environs, would on October 27th honour some prominent Nigerians with chieftancy titles as part of activities to mark his 5th year coronation anniversary.
The entire planning Committee rollout the 5th Coronation Anniversary announcement on Friday 20th October which marked the beginning of the week long celebration exercise.
The 5th year coronation anniversary tagged “God goodness and faithfulness officially opened on Friday 20th October with jumat service at Oluyole estate Central mosque at 2:00pm.
Speaking with the chief celebrant Baale Yemi Ogunyemi in his country home, he said the anniversary is to thank God for the peaceful reign and appreciate the people for their unflinching supports to give his administration a safe landing, since his installation into office as Baale 5 years ago.
Speaking in Yoruba language during our interaction with him, the monarch said under his administration there has been reduction of crimes completely divorced from the estate through vibrant security apparatus employed to overhaul the activities of the area.
Talking about peace in Oluyole estate, another very crucial area where Baale Yemi’s administration has intervened in the last 5 years, has been very noticeable and acknowledged in the area of war against land grabbing and dispute arising from selling of a particular land to multiple persons.
Among activities lined up for the weeklong celebration including, visitation to schools October 24th, secondary school friendly football match Oluyole Community grammar school October 26th, conferment of honorary chieftaincy title, Afin Baale October 27th, anniversary lecture and grand finale ceremony October 28th and thanksgiving service at Saint Mary Anglican Church, Oluyole extension October 29th.
Also speaking to Newsieevents briefly, Oluyole estate & environs youths leader Comrade Akiwgbola monsuru urged residents of the estate to continue their support for the monarch for a peaceful and prosperous Ibadan land.
The youth leader Comrade monsuru who will also be install alongside the chieftaincy honorary extolled the determination and leadership prowess of Baale Yemi.
Describing the monarch as father and grand commander of the estate, Comrade Akiwgbola prayed for more wisdom and strength bestowed on the Royal father to enable his reign achieve the best for the estate.
On his part the chief imam, Oluyole extension, Ibadan Dr. Imudasiru Bada FICWLS congratulated the Baale for his tremendous effort and successes recorded in the throne in the last 5 years.
The Chief imam noted that it takes wisdom to lead people, hence having lead the people for five years without any chios or menace in the estate it therefore means that the people made the right decision to choose him for the throne.
When asked what are his expectations as the monarch celebrate 5 years of coronation, Dr. Bada said the Royal father should continue to portray Good qualities and fear God in all his endeavours. ” having come to the mosque to pray along with his people is a clear indication that Baale loves God and will not go against the will of God under his administration. He pray for wisdom, peaceful reign and sound health on the monarch.
