The Chief of staff to the Governor of Akwa Ibom state Mr. Ephraim Inyang has been reportedly accused of involving in a conspiracy with the National working committee of the All Progressive Congress (APC) to reveal some confidential documents of the Governor of the state, Udom Emmanuel to the APC at the National level.
Presently, there is serious contention between the Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, and his Chief of staff Mr. Ephraim Inyang over a leaked document which contains the true identity of names, phone numbers, and Bank details of some Journalist and online media practitioners who were secretly placed under a payroll by the Governor to promotes his many lies, and the Chief of staff Mr. Ephraim Inyang is allegedly being fingered and seen to be responsible for the leaked documents.
Mr. Inyang who has served the administration as works commissioner throughout the first tenure and a year in the ongoing second term administration has also been reported having series of disputes with the governor even while he served as works Commissioner.
Meanwhile, it was also gathered that the former commissioner and now chief of staff is seriously on the governor’s neck on so many issues being built underground to thwart and frustrates the efforts of the Governor on his succession plan in 2023.
According to sources, Mr. Inyang is nursing ambition for federal house of representative in Eket federal constituency and we were reliably informed that the duo has reportedly consulted far and wide across party line but was afraid that his party PDP may not give him the tickets to fulfill his National Assembly ambition,
It was assumed that such fears also contributed to his character misconduct against the Governor, and he is currently compromising to find his way to the All progressive Congress in less than a short period of time where he is very sure, he will be given the tickets to the Green Chambers.
