The Independence anniversary national broadcast by President Muhammadu Buhari has been announced by the presidency.
The address will be coming live from the Eagle Square, Abuja, on Thursday, October 1st, 2020.
According to the presidency, the address would be part of the ceremonies marking the country’s 60th independence anniversary.
“The live address will commence after the Anniversary Parade beginning at 10am which will be covered by major television and radio stations especially the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).
“Please note that in view of the open-air live address, the traditional early morning October 1 Presidential Broadcast will not feature on Thursday”, Presidential media aide, Femi Adesina, said a few minutes ago.
