All is set for the arrival of the National Chairman, Nigerian Institution of Safety Engineers NISafetyE, Engr. Akaninyene Ekong, MNSE FNISafetyE on Saturday 12 February 2022 for the investiture of Engr. John Chinedu Onyemenamm as the 2nd state Chairman of the institution in Rivers State.
The National Chairman Engr. Ekong by veto of his position as the National Chairman of the institution will equally conduct the investiture ceremony installing Engr. John Onyemenam as the new state Chairman at the Autograph Event Centre, Abacha Road, New GRA, Port harcourt.
A statement by the media and publicity, Engr. Uloaku OKEKE made it known to newsmen that Dr. John Ugbebor will grace the ceremony as a keynote Speaker, Prof. Kenneth Dadge as a special guest and HRH (BARR.) DR. TEMPLE EJEKWU JP. EZE OGBA IJI- NU-EDE PARAMOUNT RULER/NYEWE-ELI OF RUMUOGBA Kingdom is expected as the Royal father of the day.
Engr Uloaku also told the newsmen that the National Chairman of the The Nigerian Institution of Safety Engineers Engr. Akaninyene Ekong (MNSE), will also double as the Chairman of the occasion, the Immediate state Chairman Engr. Chief Dagogo Stowe is also expected at the event and other very important dignitaries both in the engineering field and others.
Engr. John Onyemenam holds bachelor’s degree in petroleum Engineering, a master’s degree in environmental science and currently rounding off his PhD degree in environmental science at the centre for occupational health and safety at the prestigious University of Port Harcourt studying Centre.
Engr. John started his career in the early 2000 with Nalco chemicals, a multinational oil servicing company in Escravvos, Delta state as the blend plant engineer, he grew from there to the position of the blend manager in 2009.
He has attended series of Safety training home and abroad. He attended the prestigious Texas A&M engineering extension service centre in Texas in the USA and he is a certified Hazmat specialist.
John is a member of institution of Safety professionals (ISPON), Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Council for the regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, Nigerian Institution of Safety Engineers NISafetyE, National Registry of Environmental professionals, Pro board (Texas), he is the Chairman/CEO of Aquafortis Nigeria limited, ab oil service firm based in Port Harcourt.
However, the Nigerian Institution of Safety Engineers River State Chapter officially welcome the National Chairman and his entourage to Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital for the inaugural event.
The release invite members of the organisation, student’s bodies and other invited guest to attend the ceremony.
