The Deputy Chairman house Committee on Communications in the house of representative, Hon Unyime Idem has urged his kinsmen to remain committed in the activities that is competent to enabling the party to win the forth coming general election.

Hon Idem sued the constituents to continue maintaining peace and orderliness, love and unity in other to attract good Governance they all needed in the development of their constituency.
The Philanthropists lawmaker who has awarded scholarships to thousands of students as part of his effective representation while harmonising his people, described the choice of Governor Udom Emmanuel to picked Elder Aniekan Akpan as the next state Chairman of the party as a clear demonstration of love and confidence in Ukanafun people as well as an honour to the memory of the late State Chairman, Obong Udo Ekpenyong who hailed from the area.
Hon Unyime who is representing Ukanafun/Oruk Anam Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives applauded Governor Udom Emmanuel for his choice of Elder Aniekan Akpan as the Chairman designate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Akwa Ibom state.
The Federal lawmaker and Deputy Chairman, Communications Committee in the House, said there is need for elders ,women and youth to exercise patience, steadfastness and loyalty to the party.
He called on his constituents to sustain the peace, love and unity as observed currently in the area in order to enjoy good governance and attract the much needed development.
He thanked God for the choice of Elder Aniekan Akpan as the State Party Chairman designate which he noted has transformed the fragile unity of the area into a permanent one, describing him as an excellent man with capacity for the task ahead.
According to Rep Idem, the State Chairman designate is a loyal and humble party man, and a gift from God who will take the party to an enviable height.
At the event, a vote of confidence was passed on Governor Udom Emmanuel which was moved by the Ukanafun Political Leader, Obong Eno Akpan, seconded by Rep Idem, and unanimously affirmed by everyone in attendance while pledging loyalty and support for the Governor .
The Federal Lawmaker also made his financial supports for the benefit of the gathering.
