” To hell with your jamb form, is this when you remember us because you have silly Governorship ambition”?
That was how some aggressive set of youth group reacted when one of the strong contender for 2023 Governorship in Akwa Ibom State Mr. Akanimo Udofia offered free Jamb forms to interested students who are willing to further their studies in the higher institution in Nsit Ubium LGA of Akwa Ibom State .
According to the information gathered by Newsie Events correspondent through a WhatsApp chat and telephone conversation by one of the youth frontiers in Nsit Ubium LGA that revolted against the Governorship aspirant, he told our correspondent that the youths vehemently rejected Mr. Akan Udofia’s plan, noting that he only remember the youths because he is nursing a Governorship ambition.
He said where was Akan Udofia all those years when he could not afford Jamb form for the students? Okay, where was him during the pandemic era where people nearly die of hunger, the vulnerable where looking for one square meal a day, where was he? Our eyes have open to see those that means well for the people and not untill they have a selfish desires that is when they remember that can talk to people, we are not fools”
According to him our action was not and is not sponsored by any politician, this is what we have resolved, any politician that has not been friendly with the youths or the people should not begin now, rather should continue to enjoy his money with his family, we are not complaining.
One Mr. Ndifreke Ben also texted our correspondent on Twitter that the payback time has come where evil politicians will reap their rewards.
He said Akan Udofia is just coming out to make noise maybe it is time for his retirement probably he needs an appointment from the federal and not Governor of Akwa Ibom State.
“He claimed to be the richest man in Akwa Ibom State, what are his antecedents? Well, people hanging around him wants to milk him out and once that is done they won’t talk about him again, he said.
