Prof. Nkereuwem Etukudoh congratulates Tinubu, Akpabio, Umo Eno over successful APC primaries.

The Provost/Chief Executive Officer of the Federal College of Medical Laboratory Science and Technology, Prof. Nkereuwem Sunday Etukudoh, has felicitated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Governor Umo Eno on their emergence as candidates of the party during the just concluded party primaries.

Prof. Etukudoh described their emergence as a clear reflection of the wishes and confidence of the people, noting that the outcome of the primaries aligned with democratic values and the progressive policies of the party.

The renowned academic administrator and Midim Clan political leader expressed optimism that President Tinubu, Senator Akpabio and Governor Umo Eno would continue to work together in strengthening the nation’s economy and ensuring sustainable development across the country. He further called on party faithful and supporters within the area to remain steadfast and continue to rally support for all candidates of the party, assuring them of more grassroots development and people-oriented governance.

Speaking with journalists shortly after the exercise, Mrs. Cecelia Nyak, the Returning Officer of the primary election, confirmed that the process was peaceful, transparent, democratic and violence-free. She commended the exemplary leadership and mobilization efforts of Prof. Nkereuwem Etukudoh alongside other stakeholders, youths, women and elders whose cooperation ensured the successful conduct of the primaries.

Mrs. Nyak added that the orderly and peaceful atmosphere recorded during the exercise further demonstrated the unity, maturity and commitment of party members towards strengthening democracy and promoting peaceful political participation in the area.
