Controversies have continued to trail the defection of the Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi.
Another person who this time did not only speak out but tendered his resignation is Chika Nwoba.
Nwoba is the state’s APC publicity secretary, said he resigned because he cannot work with the governor.
He maintained that he cannot continue to work at the forefront with Umahi being the supreme leader of the party in the state after his defection.
His resignation came days after Ebonyi state commissioner for intergovernmental affairs also quit his appointment.
In a statement issued by Nwoba himself on Monday, he extended his heartfelt appreciation to the APC for finding him worthy to head the position since 2018 at the age of 27.
His statement reads in part :
“I cannot work with Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi,” the APC chieftain said while breaking the silence on why he left his position as APC Ebonyi state publicity secretary. The Punch reports…
