The need for church founders to be independent outside the church offering and other funds raised by members of their congregation has once again  been emphasized.
The General oversea of Life Refreshment Chapel International in Uyo Rev. Solomon Nanah made this emphasis while interacting with some journalists at his office in Uyo.
The chartered accountant cum church founder said calling wasn’t a career hence every man of God should endeavor to have and pursue their careers while still responding to God’s calling.
The holiness preacher noted that some preachers are depending on church funds to maintain their families with claims that they are hearing from God to venture into full-time ministry.

Rev. Solomon who is a director of finance in the office of the accountant general Akwa Ibom State regretted that some men of God are desperate conducting more than 3 services a Sunday but cannot prove the spiritual benefits of their members.
He called on pastors and other General overseas to also pursue their careers while rendering services to God in their various congregations.
