Professor Chukwuma Soludo, Governor of Anambra State, has expressed regret and pain over the passing of Chief Annie Okonkwo, former Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District.
Soludo stated that the late Senator Okonkwo, a distinguished son of Anambra State who originated from Ojoto in the state’s Idemili South local government area, paid his dues while attempting to serve the state.
He commiserated with Okonkwo’s family and friends over the devastating loss and asked that the good Lord grant his soul eternal peace and the family he left behind the courage to bear the irreparable loss!.
